Ahh I Love Kristen

Little House - Amanda Seyfried

K and I are waiting with great anticipation for the movie - 'Dear John'. It is one of those movies that we know we are going to LOVE and want to watch many, many times.
While we are waiting here is Amanda Seyfried, who stars in the movie, singing a song she wrote for the soundtrack - Little House.

Nic's Still a Ranga

Yep, I'm a huge fan of your husband but I'm also a huge fan of your new colour. Makes you look much more relaxed and fun.

I think there must be something going on with Nicole - singing and daggy dancing, back to the curls, ditched the sappy blonde - she looks so happy, I wonder why? (apart from the obvious fact that she has THE BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD!)

Fashion At The SAG Awards

There were some lovely dressed ladies at the SAG Awards this year, some of which are above. Great to see Lea Michelle in a winner after the Globes prom dress, and fantastic to see Kyra in the best dressed lists.
The thing that worries me is that the two dresses that stood out for me were popping up on worst dressed lists and has made me doubt my judgement. What do you think of Toni and Nic's dresses? I'm a fan, especially of Toni's which I love, but apparently I'm in the minority!

(Loving Nicole embracing the red hair - looks fantastic, no more ice queen)

New Zac Movies!

This week there has been talk that Zac will be starring, and executive producing, "FIRE", an adaptation of a graphic novel. There is now news that he is starting work on a "Back To The Future-esque" type movie. Looks like he is succeeding in shedding the Disney image.
Zac’s newest movie, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, is currently in post-production and is slated for a June 11, 2010 release. In it, Zac stars as Charlie St. Cloud, a young man trying to come to terms with the accidental death of his younger brother.

Poll Results

It looks like the celebrity couple we still miss the most is BRAD and JEN...

No!! Not that Brad and Jen - this Brad and Jen...

It seems that we can't quite let go of the dream couple and still wish we could turn the clock back to happier times. They really were a fabulous pair weren't they. While finding photos for this post I was struck by how happy and content they always look with each other - lots of laughing and cuddling.

This brings me to another poll question because personally I hope that Jen stays well out of Brad's way if he does indeed break up with 'she who can't be named'. As far as I am concerned he's done his dash and doesn't deserve our Jen back in his life - so vote on the poll and tell me your thoughts in the comment box. How would you feel if they got back together?

It was Ellen's 52nd birthday during the week - Happy Birthday Ellen. Great excuse to post this fantastic photo...

Loving a Rory Movie

Just borrowed this so I'll let you know what it's like ....
.
Reed Fish's life turns into chaos when a high school crush returns to Mud Meadows on the eve of his marriage to the small town's sweetheart.
.
Variety described the film as a ‘Charming, rural version of a pre-wedding panic...flawlessly in tune to small-town rhythms. Pitch-perfect dialogue, quietly dynamic helming and small-scale action on a widescreen canvas make for a very appealing film....’

Dino's a Vamp

Good news for all us Sean Faris fans - His Vampire Diaries episodes are showing in the states this week so looks like we'll be able to download them sooner rather than later. HIs first episode is ep.12 'Unpleasantville'. Can't wait.

"People think because you’re an actor that you think you’re a big deal, but I’m an actor because I love acting. I don’t act because I want to be famous. I’m just a guy from Texas who has a cool job, a great family and a lot of love. I’m very, very lucky."

last one from Sundance...I promise!

It's official

Hamish Blake is back on the market!!!!

Hmmmmm

The CW has ordered a pair of pilots with familiar hooks, one being the latest version of "La Femme Nikita" and the other coming from "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

Sherman-Palladino and husband Daniel Palladino are behind an untitled family drama set on a Wyoming horse farm. That project is set up through Warner Bros. and CBS TV Studio.

what the hell is so funny??

Enjoy K!

I've missed K so much while I've been away that I am happy to indulge her Ryan obsession without any Billy Ray retribution - in fact I'm even going to share some shots of the young man myself ...

Ryan on his way to Sundance!

UP IN THE AIR

Just watched it......great film! Go see it!

Great cast. George, of course is perfection, Vera, just lovely. Anna Kendrick (for those of you not familiar, she is Bella Swan's best friend Jessica in Twilight) lights up the screen whenever she comes on, Jason bateman, always brilliant and very handsome, and to my delightful surprise, Chris Lowell, from one of the Hollow's fave shows LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, has a smallish role as George's assistant.

SAG AWARDS - the winners

Haven't had a chance to actually watch them yet, but there looks to be no surprises here! Very happy for Kevin and the cast of GLEE.

Brad and Ange

What to say......apparently it's official!!!!! We ll as official as Hollywood gets. And it 's gonna get nasty. The fight over the kids could get a little ugly with both wanting custody over both adopted and biological children and Billy bob apparently putting his hand up for Maddox!!! Sounds hideous. Poor kids!

There are also rumours that Jen is keen to get back with Brad, and the two, who have only been seen in the same place twice since they divorced, were both at the telethon the other night!!!!

so much news, so little time

there is so much happening at the moment, I can't keep up!!!!

HAITI telethon, Brad and Ange, SAG Awards........where do i start and at this time of night??????

Hope for Haiti

It is hideousness that has fallen upon Haiti and it is always joyful when people come together to help others in need, thus the Hope for Haiti telethon was born. George Clooney pulled it together and rallied anyone he has ever met in Hollywood. It was a serious line up.

It was very serious, probably a little too serious for my liking, but then I am used to the Good Friday Appeal, so surely, anything is improved on from that!

My fave moment was probably Justin Timberlake and Matt Morris singing HALLElujah (although my fave version will always be Jeff Buckley). Sidenote - Justin and Matt met on the Mickey Mouse Club (yes the very same that Ryan was a part of!) Justin has just produced Matt's album, which I am going to purchase after now hearing his voice!

Many , many stars played a role both speaking and answering phones. Not to sound harsh but there were clearly a few there just getting their little old heads back in front of a camera!

The other fun thing about telethons is a mash up of performers together eg Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, And Jay Z, Bono and Rihanna. I love a good and interesting combo!

A couple of women looking a little different to how I remember them were also there. Nicole, who of course is buddies with George but looking decidedly different at the telethon.... And Meg Ryan, who basically looks like a clown now. I used to think she was one of the most beautiful women ever, now, not so much!!!!

There were some spunks there! Matt Damon who is close friends of George, Leo, Colin Farrell (hello!!!), and the loveey Zac (and stinkin' Vanessa!!!)

And there were some lovely ladies and fun people there too!!!

So personally, I founf it a little boring, but of course could not tear myself away! Didn't want to miss a minute!!!

PS Special mention to Madonna for LIKE A PRAYER, one of my faves!!!!

Sad news

Word is that Rob Lowe is leaving BROTHERS AND SISTERS this season. Apparently will be killed off for budget cuts to the network!!!!!
