Why We Love Zac

Zac Efron made a surprise appearance at the end of "Take a Bow," a retirement tribute show for his old High School drama teacher, Robyn Metchik, on Friday night.
Zac had flown to California on Thursday to surprise Robyn at the show.

 He initially appeared in a video projected on the stage, explaining that he could not be there to present her a handmade award done on a posterboard, as he's been busy touring to promote The Lucky One.

As the video neared its end, Zac said he would "see what (he) could do," to give his teacher the award.
Appearing to walk off screen, Zac then walked on stage to a very surprised teacher.
After the tribute show, he met with Robyn Metchik's current students backstage  and then attended a reception in her honor.
