Richard Grieco- the update

I promised, and now here it is, a Richard Grieco update. You may recall that Ryan Gosling mentions Richard Grieco IN BLUE VALENTINE. (check here for a recap), well i thought it best to investigate what BOOKER is up to these days.

For those ignorant or born in the late 80's and early 90's, Grieco came into our lives playing Dennis Booker in 21 JUMP ST, the tv series that launched johnny Depp's career. After a year as a semi regular on Jump St, they gave him his own spin off called BOOKER. This led to about the only feature i can remember him in, IF LOOKS COULD KILL. Although it appears that he has worked fairly consistently throughout the years, there is nothing particularly memorable, however he did appear in 3 episodes of Veronica Mars, clearly a highlight on his resume!! His most recent outing being a stint on the American reality show 'Gone Country' where celebrities sing country music!!

And magnificently, Richard has his own endorsed website. Magic! http://www.thergweb.com/

And here he is singing one of his own songs!!!

  1. Glad to Richard Grieco's still a live and looking good.. Not the default Ravagedry from mines of coke or speed or whatever.
I know nothing of him except of how i used to watch 21 jump street wand Hope to one day Be THAT Cool. :) ahh.. the wantings of youth.

Johney Deep wasn't my role model, he was too 'whimpy and kidlike' - for a 'kid' to admire, if one can understand that.- I was the guy who wanted to BE The Other Guy! The one Man that this guy seemed to be on T.V.

Nice to see your old hero's alive and kicking - while so many of them fall and burn from there own matches. Fame's a tough gig.. Something I'm sure there's no way to prepare a guy for. And you often get just that One Chance to get it right
    - Just ask little River Pheonix who never made it to a manhood
    - and who now can be found "posing" in pictures like this creepy, low-down one I stumbled in by accident and left it pretty quickly.. 'Dead Celebrity Pics' isn't my idea of a Good website but if it's yours, here's what "I" got on eye full of during an innocent Google-Search:

    www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://deadcelebsbook.com/blog/files/2009/10/River-Phoenix-for-Blog1jpg1-300x196.jpg&imgrefurl=http://deadcelebsbook.com/blog/2009/10/29/dead-celeb-of-the-week-river-phoenix/&h=196&w=300&sz=18&tbnid=q2vhhiDnduEd6M:&tbnh=78&tbnw=119&prev=/search%3Fq%3Driver%2Bphoenix%2Bdeath%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=river+phoenix+death&docid=YRKp7-hf3EP94M&hl=en&sa=X&ei=UAfDTsnSCMfz0gH6g438Dg&sqi=2&ved=0CE4Q9QEwBg&dur=8194

    But again...
    Good for you, Richard Grieco!
and Thanks for Keeping One.. That Song of yours? Amazingly it's good stuff!
It seems those born with talent were born with lots of it!
    - but sadly it most often comes without the usual sack of common sense.

But happily it seems to me anyway, this guy Grieco got a decent dosage of both.
