just not getting it......

I love the show, read the blogs, but I'm just not getting the 'Chuck' thing. Is there anyone out there loving Ed?? If so, help me understand. I get the 'shame crushes' (the crushes you have when you're not having a crush, or more truthfully the crushes you would rather not admit you are having) I have had many! In fact, very soon I will do a shame crush/ugly boy crush top ten! But Ed, just finding him kinda creepy!
