I love this. These two together makes me so happy. We have a serious love for Michelle here in the Hollow and have been concerned about her since the beautiful Heath left us. I did have high hopes for awhile about a Ryan and Michelle union, however that appears to have been a 'friends' only affair. But this relationship could be fun. Imagine dating the guy from THE MUPPETS, the guy who makes you laugh on how I met your mother, the cute one for FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, and he's smart as well as funny. yay, happiness for Michelle. Good luck you two!

We were lucky enough to attend the Australian Premiere of The Hunger Games on Tuesday night  which as you can imagine was very exciting and having been early fans of the books we were dying to see how the film had been handled.  We were also very keen to see our very own piece of casting in action - as soon as the film was announced your Stars Hollow ladies were on the net recommending Liam Hemsworth as the perfect choice for Gale.  

Imagine how thrilled we were when he was not only in the running but actually got the part.  We acted smug, slapped each other on the back and generally acted like it was all due to us.  

Things were looking great for this movie until the casting of Peter..... we were not at all convinced but as the powers that be had chosen Liam we assumed they saw something that we didn't.  Our problem with Josh Hutcherson playing Peter was the the OBVIOUS discrepancy in their hottness quotient.  

In the book Katniss is supposed to be torn between the two boys - loving them both for different reasons but unable to commit to either.... with these two playing the roles we just don't see it.  How the hell could there be a choice!  


Imagine my shock and surprise when I was looking at the Access Hollywood site this morning only to discover that in a poll for HOTTEST 'HUNGER GAMES' HUNK  Liam is LOSING to Josh 43% to 57%!!!  Can someone please explain to me how that can happen - look at them.....

So I have decided we need to have our own poll here at Stars Hollow because I am positive our readers are much more discerning than the Access Hollywood readers - clearly.  So check out the left hand side bar and cast your vote for THE HOTTEST 'HUNGER GAMES' HUNK.

George Clooney (and his dad) were arrested in Washington yesterday and I find this sexy? A man with a cause is totally sexy. Yes he knew exactly what he was doing and what the result would be, George is not doing hard time any time real soon, but george is trying to bring to the attention of the world the plight of the Sudanese, and this does deserve our attention. Seriously, big turn on George. Keep it up!

THE HUNGER GAMES

Hearing good things........

I know that people who have seen the film in australia are not allowed to discuss until next week, so local reviews are scarce. I do know however, that there have been screenings, and that it is awesome! Does it hold up to the book? almost! Scenes have been cut, but this is not an irregular occurrence in adaptations, it is also possibly not quite as violent, as they have gone for an M rating here instead of MA. Jennifer Lawrence is apparently amazing, and our boy Liam, holds his own. Lenny Kravitz is meant to be pretty good also.

We are seeing it slightly early, but there are embargoes in place, so as soon as we are allowed, we shall let you know...........
