Last week we had him doing yoga at the beach, this week, he is babysitting Cate Blanchett's kids in the snow. To me, there is nothing hotter than a hot dad playing with his kids. Oh, you are just lovely Hugh Jackman!

Fave films of 2009

Well, it seems everyone is making lists at this time of year. So thought I might give mention to a couple of ripper films from 2009. Was thinking about attempting my fave films of the decade, but clearly, became overwhelmed at the thought of that process.

A bit of housekeeping!

It has been remiss of me not to mention our latest poll. The boys of Gossip Girl. So who do you love??? Overwhelmingly, and scoring half the votes was Nate (CHACE CRAWFORD), who coincidentally has been named one of the 'most beautiful people of this decade' by Interview Magazine. (yes, we trust these people, they brought us half naked, dirty, muscly, grown up Zac) Zac was also named in the top 20 alongside Colin Farrell, Jake G, Natalie Portman etc

Coming in second place in a tie was Dan and Chcuk. Absolutely intriguing, I myself am a Rufus man, who placed last, but I guess this frees him up a little with not so much demand!!!

Retro Sunday on Tuesday

Slack, slack, slack.....it's the holiday season, so random postings people! Sorry!!!

Not sure why this one popped into my head today. I think I loved it at the time, and I know that it was one of my all time fave movie posters. does anybody remember BED OF ROSES starring Mary Stuart Masterton,(Fried Green Tomatoes, Some Kind of Wonderful) and Christian Slater (Heathers, Pump Up the Volume)? I barely remember the plotline but I remember it was romantic and maybe I teared up. Time for a rewatch. has anyone seen this one lately?

Scott Baio

I just spent the evening with Scott Baio, who is apparently 45 and single. Well actually a couple of years ago he was, but the series titled "Scott Baio is 45 and Single' has only just hit our shores! Worth the wait! It's pretty daggy and I felt myself wondering the whole time while watching whether it was money or the spotlight that steered him in the reality tv direction!

Well anyway, it seems to have worked for him, as he is now married with a child, so I guess happy endings can happen in Hollywood!

RACHEL McAdams has a new man in her life — she’s reportedly dating Jude Law’s personal assistant.

Rachel — who stars opposite Law in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes flick — was spotted on a romantic stroll with former model Ben Jackson in New York over the weekend.

“They were laughing a lot and looked like they were having a good time,” a source said.

Rachel, 31, has been single since splitting up from actor Josh Lucas earlier this year following a four-month fling.

This Is Why We Love Keith

Keith Urban, played Santa on Saturday, secretly buying a $450 guitar pedal for a shellshocked teenager while shopping in Brisbane.

Tym Brennan, of Tym Guitars, told ABC Radio this morning that Urban had come into his shop to buy a guitar following his concert at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday night.

"I look up and there's Keith Urban and his band, which was quite a shock obviously," Mr Brennan told ABC.

"He spent abut half an hour in the shop trying out guitars, and there was a kid sitting there trying out a fuzz pedal, which is an effect you get for a guitar.

"Keith came back down the counter and was chatting away and had picked out a guitar he liked. He had heard the kid trying out the pedal for some time and he just leaned over and whispered, 'How much is the pedal that kid's looking at?' "I said, 'It's $450, it's not a cheap one', and he just whispered, 'Put it on my card.'

"Obviously I was quite shocked.

"I said, 'Do you want me to tell him?', and he said, 'No, wait 'til I leave.'"

Mr Brennan said as the Caboolture country rock singer made his way out the door, he simply shook the teen's hand, said merry Christmas and left.

The teenager asked Mr Brennan afterwards whether it was in fact Urban, then got the shock of his life when told the guitar pedal was his.

"He looked at me several times blankly and sort of turned a bit white," Mr Brennan told ABC.

"After he settled down a bit he rang his dad on his mobile and said that Keith Urban had just bought him a Christmas present."

In the spirit of my new friendship with Mrs Urban can I just say that I am greatly enjoying the fact that she is going back to red! I think she looks sooo much better with her flaming hair and am so glad she has ditched the insipid blonde. Nice move Mrs U.

This excites me.....

(Not quite as much as the previous photo), but the idea of an ENTOURAGE movie. Mark Wahlberg, EP on Entourage, is apparently floating around the idea of a movie. Too much fun! And the boys are back on our screens (in Oz) in a couple of weeks!!!! Can't wait!

Brittany Murphy Has Died

Brittany Murphy died early Sunday morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. Brittany starred in such films as "Clueless", "8 Mile" and "Don't Say a Word". She was 32. What a tragic loss.

RETRO SUNDAY

LOVE ACTUALLY - My very favourite Christmas film, and really one of my fave's of all time. It's one I'm happy to sit and watch at any time. any place, no matter how many times I have seen it.

I can never decide my favourite storyline or characters, it changes with each watching. Is it the delightful Andrew Lincoln providing some spookily stalkerish yet romantic advances to his best mates bride



Or lovely Hugh Grant doing his bumbling englishman to perfection to persuade the 'plump' Natalie to be his chick and his magnificent attempt to dance to the Pointer Sister's JUMP?
