Fill Me In

Please will someone tell me what the attraction is with this guy?  Shia LaBeouf has me completely stumped.  Originally a stand-up comic in his home town in L.A., Shia went on to appear in TV shows and played small parts in movies such as Charlie's Angels, until  he hit the big time with Transformers and since then has been on everyone's most wanted list. 

He may be a decent actor but what I object to his his status as 'swoon worthy'.  I just don't see it!  Enlighten me please...
