The Firm Hires Josh

I can't get the smile off my face - one of my favourite actors, Mr Josh Lucas  is in final negotiations to play the lead in The Firm, based on the hit movie starring Tom Cruise.



The series picks up 10 years after the events of the movie and the John Grisham novel. This will be the first regular TV series role for Josh, who is best known for his work in films such as Glory Road, A Beautiful Mind, Poseidon and of course - Sweet Home Alabama.
 
I'm so thrilled that we will get to see him on a weekly basis on our TV screens.  What a treat.

Good Cast - Bad Film? Perhaps

I've got good news and bad news - The good news is two Stars Hollow boys are in the one movie YAY - The bad news is that it is the equivelant of soft porn! The beautiful Josh Lucas stars in Death In Love with Adam Brody also starring.



One reviewer had this to say - Adam Brody: Brody steals the spotlight with his co-starring role as the “new” business partner. His presence on screen is charming and natural. If you’re a hue Brody fan and must see this movie, I propose you forward only to the scenes with him in it. Where did the guy from Remember the Titans go? Death In Love tries, but it fails. It is one of the hardest most uncomfortable films to watch. The sex scenes are gruesome, and the only thing that stands out is Brody, but maybe it’s just because I miss seeing him in the big screen. Don’t go watch this film, don’t even rent it unless you have to watch it for some sex-ed class.

Sweet Home Alabama

Anyone living in Melbourne, and having any taste what so ever would have been watching one of the greatest chick flicks of the last decade. Sweet Home Alabama!

It doesn't matter how many times I see this movie - I could sit through it again straight after. Always a mark of a truly great film I think.

So to celebrate this movie and of course to give you what Stars Hollow readers always want - eye candy, here is the delectable Mr Josh Lucas, a member of Jenny's laminated list and the sleeper star of Sweet Home.

Now that is the perfect way to spend a Saturday night. Thank you Channel 7, and now, for your viewing pleasure, here is one of my favourite scenes with Reece and Josh...

Good Work Cupid

One of our favourite boys - and possibly even on my laminated list - Mr Josh Lucas, of the piercing blue eyes and to die for dimples, has hooked up with another Stars Hollow favourite - Ms Rachel McAdams.

This coupling was so good I just had to give it a post of it's own. There was a time when we could not picture Rachel with anyone but the delightful Ryan Gosling, and we had even decided that Jen Aniston would do well with a bit of Josh love'n. But this is even better. How cute are they?! Hopefully I won't put the mos on them as my couples have a notorious habit of splitting as soon as I have declared my approval.... Jen and Brad - gone, Heath and Michelle - gone (then died), Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson - gone, (I'm not game to mention Reece and Jake in case the curse gets them!)

With any luck these two will go the distance and delight us with more 'snogging' pictures in the future. They will have to go on my list of favourite celebrity couples! Now there's another Top 10 for us..... who are your favourite celeb couples?
