Big Miracle

Starring Drrew Barrymore, John Krasinski and Kristen Bell, this movie was inspired by the true story that captured the hearts of people across the world. Big Miracle tells the amazing tale of a small town news reporter (John Krasinski) and a Greenpeace volunteer (Drew Barrymore) who are joined by rival world superpowers to save a family of majestic gray whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle.

What is not to love - I can see a feel-good weepy coming on...



Oh and did you notice the divine Mr Mulroney?? Yes please.

Another fun day of filming with pals @daxshepard1 @IMKristenBell -real treat.Got crap beat out of me & got to beat someone with a golf club.

A film with Michael, Dax AND Kristen!! Hell Yes!

After extensive research I've discovered the movie is 'Outrun' and according to Dax - 'it’s like a Sundance version of Smokey and the Bandit, a car chase movie. A low-budget car chase movie. All my friends are in it, all of the same group of guys who were in Brother’s Justice are in it.'

Dax is directing and starring alongside Kristen in the film.  we'll have to keep our eye on this one.

The Trifecta

It doesn't get much better than this for me - 3 of my absolute favourite TV ladies in the one photo.  Not only that but they represent 3 of the best TV shows ever made!  If Sophia Bush had turned up life would just about be perfect.

I'm So Excited!

Kristen Bell is coming to our TV screens again!

She is returning to television via Showtime, where she's been booked for the upcoming dark comedy House of Lies. The series stars Don Cheadle as a management consultant who does whatever it takes to do his job. Kristen will play Cheadle's coworker, an Ivy League grad named Jeannie Van Der Hooven.  Brilliant - only Lauren Graham's return to TV could compare to the excitement I feel for this piece of news.

I'm, sure you know of my girl crush for Kristen Bell - It turns out that not only is she a massive fan of GLEE, as she should be, but she actually dated Matthew Morrison! How cool!

Love me any movie that features Kristen Bell but this one has so many other things going for it.  Check it out. It is due for release in Australia Sept 30th.  I'm there.

When in Rome......

Last night, we went to Rome, via the Sun Theatre, and we had fun. If, when you go to Rome, you don't expect too much, you'll have a good time too!!

The reasons we loved this film are simple............




Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel! In equal parts! Kristen, so cute, great with the comedy and did I mention how cute she is!!! Josh, so hot, smooth with his delivery, and did I mention hot!!!! So the film is definitely aesthetically pleasing.

The supporting cast is a mixed up bunch whose characters are slightly too left of crazy to be too likeable. Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) plays a wannabe illusionist with a Criss Angel kind of vibe, Will Arnett (job from Arresting Development) plays a long haired supposed Italian artist, Danny Devito plays the sausage king (not of Chicago!!! - Ferris reference for anyone who cares!!)and Dax Shepherd, Kristen's real life love, plays an in love with himself model. These characters all fall in love with Kristen's character after she pulls their coins out of the fountain of love, when she is in Rome for her sister's wedding. Chaos reigns as they all try to win her affections.

I actually had some laugh out loud moments`, not too many, but there were some!!! Cue Kristen breaking vase!!!

We were most impressed with Kristen's wardrobe. She looked absolutely fanstastic throughout the film. And a few great hair moments also.


The script is pretty lame and cliched, but if you are loving yourself some Kristen or Josh, then you will happily switch your brain off at the door and enjoy this romp!


PS Josh why are you with Fergie, we just don't get it!!!!! you are so HOT!!!!!
