Colin - top of my DF list

I watched TOTAL RECALL yesterday.  Not allowed to do a review yet, but it's definitely watchable!  However, the thing I am most excited about is that I got to watch Colin Farrell for 1 hour and 48 minutes.  Sadly, since he has sobered up, he is not out and about so much, so a new film means a bit of publicity and a bit of screen time.  Enjoy it while it lasts.

Missed opportunity

You may or may not know, but Colin Farrell heads up my DF list. I am a sad lady this evening after just having learned that I have missed a massive opportunity. I might be late to hear this news, but it doesn't make it any easier to digest. Colin Farrell lived in australia for 2 years in the mid 90's. Two whole freaking years, young and available......................aaaaaaarrrrggghhhhhhh

Well hello Neighbour......

I think it's kinda funny they have remade FRIGHT NIGHT, and even funnier that Colin Farrell and Toni Collette are in it!!!!

colin does country

In fact I think the last time I saw Colin on the big screen was in CRAZY HEART!

london boulevard

I'm desperately waiting to see Colin back on the big screen. We didn't appear to get ONDINE, and I'm not sure if or when we will get The Way Back (trailer here), so here is another one to have a look at. It looks like a mixture of 'Underbelly' and 'The Bodyguard'. Don't really know much more about it than this!

The Way Back

This is not the usual type of trailer we post here, but this does look like an amazing film. Well, three things make it amazing in my eyes.....Peter Weir as director, Jim Sturgess and Colin Farrell.

A Home at the End of the World

Hmmm, have just watched 'A Home at the End of the World'. It's a film based on a novel by Pullitzer prize winning novelist Michael Cunningham. I was drawn to it due to the fact that I was having a Colin moment, and he just happens to be the star of this one. The film is a strange one, but it's heart is a good one. The story of a boy whose tragic upbringing encourages him to go through life in a way many others wouldn't. It's the story of trying to find somewhere to belong, of how we fit into other people's lives, of friendships. It covers such topics as loss, drugs, homosexuality, bisexuality, parenting etc. Colin's character is just following the love, searching for a place where he feels at 'home'. The cast also includes Sissy Spacek and Robin Wright Penn. I enjoyed the film, despite it being caned by the critics at its time of release, I think it is totally watchable. Without sounding biased, Colin's performance was mesmerising, when he is onscreen, he is definitely the best thing about the film.
