Swords and Kilts - A Winning Combo!
I'm not a huge fan of the re-make but if it involves Ryan Reynolds in a bearskin and long hair then I'm on board! Highlander is getting a reboot.
With Ryan Reynolds in the lead.
28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is in charge. Can not wait to see the first stills from this gem. Even if it's shit we still will get to see Ryan in a kilt!
Problem?

VIVA FOREVER - need to see this now!!!!!!
From the award-winning writer and comedienne Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous, French & Saunders), and Judy Craymer, producer of the worldwide smash-hit musical MAMMA MIA!, comes VIVA FOREVER!, a wonderfully joyous contemporary musical about the value of friendship in the face of fame and fortune!
As one girl follows her dreams, VIVA FOREVER! charts her journey into the world of overnight celebrity and its impact on her mother, and the friends she thought she’d have forever. From London to Spain and back again, as the world judges you, it’s all about who you really are and who you want to be, whatever the cost.
Spice up your life with this exhilarating and irresistibly funny tale of love, loyalty and romance. An original story of our times, inspired by the songs of the Spice Girls, VIVA FOREVER! hits all the high notes for a fabulous feel-good night out.

Saturday Night DJ - Sigur Ros
The acclaimed Icelandic band Sigur Rós recently asked a dozen filmmakers to each choose a song from its new album, “Valtari,” and shoot a video inspired by the music. All the directors received the same $10,000 budget and zero instructions from the band. With that creative freedom, filmmaker Alma Har’el delivered dead butterflies, light-up lollipops and a naked (in every sense) performance from a star of megabudget Hollywood movies. Please note, that this clip is thought provoking and contains material that may offend some people. Shia LaBoeuf agreed to appear for nothing and some of the scenes were improvised over the shoot. i.e. the nude scenes were not necessarily planned!

The Future Mr & Mrs Hemsworth
Anyone who reads this blog will know that I am rather a large fan of Ms Cyrus so the news of her engagement caused much excitment. I adore Miley and Liam as a couple and despite the fact that I think 19 is mighty young to be getting engaged I wish them all the happiness in the world and look forward to seeing Miley spend more time in Melbourne in the future.
Miley and Liam met on the set of their movie 'The Last Song' way back in 2009 and immediately hit it off. They have now been together for three years. Despite Miley's fame she's a down to earth southern country chick at heart - and Liam, the surfer dude from Phillip Island seems to suit her beautifully. She's a straight talker who tries to stay true to herself and Liam suffers no bullshit, like most Australians - may they have a long and happy life together.
Here are some of my favourite Miley & Liam photos....
And my absolute favourite...

Need to talk LIPS!
How could I concentrate on PROMETHEUS when these lips were being flashed around the screen throughout. Oh my, Logan Marshall-Green, or Tom Hardy's twin brother, is mighty fine. After playing characters in fave things like The OC (remember Trey?), and 'across the Universe', he is now playing one of the key roles in PROMETHEUS. I love me some good lips and this set was definitely doing it for me throughout this film. Will be keeping an eye on those babes in the future. They are currently kissing Maria Tomei's lips, yep, he likes an older woman!!!!

Do you miss him...
Like I miss him. Like really miss him........It just feels as though we haven't been as close lately. He's been off filming in Thailand and holed up with his chick, here has been no wandering down streets with musical instruments or random strolls with George. And no films to promote. You know last year when it felt like he had a film releasing nearly every week.......ahhh the good old days! Here's a bit of casual Ryan at the airport popping off to Canada for a little trip with stinking Eva.

So who is Finnick?
Looks as though it is down to two......
Armie Hammer and Garrett Hedlund, but don't rule out Taylor Kitsch, Trevor Donovan, Alex Pettyfer and Jesse Williams. Rumours are swirling thought that it is this guy that is the director's first choice.
Finnick Odair was a male victor from district 4. He was known for being the victor of the 65th Hunger Games and a survivor of the 3rd Quarter Quell, also known as the 75th Hunger Games.
