Brad's Mo
My esteemed colleague just texted me to inform me that she would still 'do' Bradley Cooper even with his 'porn mustache'.
I was intrigued and thought I'd better investigate....
Brad has been sporting this look for a while now - here he is at the Globes.
But it is today's presenting gig at the Oscars that has polarized mustache lovers and haters. We know at least one person who doesn't mind it - what are your thoughts? Love it or hate it?

Picture this........The Place behind the Pines
It's too much!!! The Ryan Gosling starrer, written and directed by his BLUE VALENTINE director, The Place Behind the Pines, is looking like a mighty fine production, Ryan is playing a pro motorcycle rider who starts robbing banks to support his newborn son until he crosses paths with a determined young cop, to be played by the insanely delightful and spunky Bradley Cooper, and the producers are now in negotiations to add one moody Australian hunk, Ben mendelsohn to the cast! Oh mY!!!!

THE HANGOVER PART II - the review

I loved THE HANGOVER. I hadn't expected to, but I laughed my arse off! Funny, smart, a little bit crude, but really bloody funny! THE HANGOVER II has laughs, but it's not the smart fun surprise of the first. For a start, there aren't any surprises! It's the same film, different location,. Fine, as it's funny, as was the first, but this time, the jokes and story aren't as fresh.
The story goes that Stu (Ed Helms) is getting married, his fiancee has Thai parents, thus the wedding is to be held on a lovely beach resort in Thailand. He of course, invites his besties, Doug (Justin Bartha) and Phil (Bradley Cooper), and is talked into including Alan (Zach Galafanakis) as a guest. He decides not to have a bachelor party, but gives in to one quiet beer on the beach with the boys. Of course, things go horribly wrong and they wake up in a seedy hotel in Bangkok, where they again are left to do the detective work to uncover what happened the night before.
What went wrong for me in this film, is that it felt like, instead of the clever funny stuff they delivered in the first film, the jokes are often of a cruder nature and seem to appear for shock value, which of course will get laughs for some. There is one joke in particular, that seems to be well overused!!! (if you watch the film, you will know what I mean) The thing I really liked about this film, was Bradley Cooper, dirty and dishevelled in Thailand!!!!!

It's definitely watchable, and if you liked the vibe of the first one, then you will like it. You won't like it as much as the first, but hey, there aren't too many sequels better than the original. This film will have a very successful opening weekend, and many will enjoy alot! It's a night out, with laughs and fun, but don't go if crude is not your thing!
Little fun fact 3 of the costars in this film have worked together in a previous film......FAILURE TO LAUNCH.....Brad Cooper, Justin Bartha and Crystal the monkey!!!

I think I am falling a little bit in love........
I have just spent the night with Bradley Cooper. And I liked it alot! He is of course doing the rounds at the moment to promote LIMITLESS. Hence, this evening, I have watched him be cool with Robert Deniro on Jimmy Fallon, be extremely charming and funny with Graham Norton and fangirl over Liam Neeson, and delightful and emotional on his return to 'Inside the Actor's Studio' where he was actually a student. Worth a watch as they even show him as an audience member firing off questions to guests like Robert Deniro. GOLD! I actually can't getr enough. Here is a taste of the 'Actor's Studio' gig, see if you can stop watching after this...he is a little addictive.........
