A Gilmore Baby!!

Yes there is going to be a new generation of Star's Hollow residents and this one belongs to none other than my favourite Rory boyfriend - Dean Forrester.  We have watched Jared Padalecki grow from a sweet, and very tall young boy and perfect first love in the Gilmore Girls, to a hot and sexy as all hell demon chaser in Supernatural and now this young man is about to have a baby.
Jared and his wife Genevieve Cortese, whom he met on the set of Supernatural are expecting their first baby!  What lovely news.

The Boys

The Supernatural boys hanging with the Smallville boys.  Before Jensen was a Winchester he lived in Smallville so I'm sure they had a lot to catch up on.

(The fact that Jared lived in Stars Hollow wins out every time though.)

Wedding Bells

The lovely Jared Padalecki (Dean from Gilmore Girls) tied the knot with his Supernatural costar Genevieve Cortese on Saturday.
Jared’s best man was older brother Jeffrey Padalecki and one of his groomsmen was his on-screen brother Jensen Ackles (Supernatural).

Like his 'Dean' character, Jared did not muck around - they were engaged for only 2 months prior to the big day.

Barefeet!! I love me a barefoot. I don't love feet, but the idea of the freedom of a barefoot, reminding us of warm days and hot nights. A small peek at the skin suit. just a suggestion..... Sexy? you bet.

Dean's Getting Married

and it isn't to Rory!! Jared Padelecki is engaged to marry former Supernatural costar Genevieve Cortese.
Apparently he popped the question early in the new year.

Why Didn't We Think Of That?

I don't know many women who wouldn't like a perve at Jared Padalecki's butt but there is someone out there in cyber space who has taken it a step further. Do your self a favour and check out 'The Shrine Of Jared Padalecki's Ass' It is hilarious - make sure you go to the 'slap It' section and don't miss the opening video which had me laughing out loud.

I hope Jared has seen it because it is a joyous testimony to his derriere and proves his fans are not only appreciative but humorous as well.

Happy Birthday Jared

I know I'm a few days late but as I'd been meaning to do a post about him, now seems an appropriate time. On July 19, Jared Tristan Padalecki turned 27 .

I fell in love with him when played the yummy Dean Forester on “Gilmore Girls” (2000-05). In my opinion he was the perfect first love for Rory and no matter what anyone says, he was definitly my favourite Rory boyfriend. In the first pilot Jared was not cast as Dean but thank god they ditched the original choice and the rest is Gilmore Girls history.

Jared is 6 foot 4 inches and was the second tallest cast member of Gilmore Girls - can you guess who was taller?

His first acting role was as Matt Nelson in the 1999 TV movie “Silent Witness.” when he was 18. Jared and Chad Michael Murray, funnily enough, considering they hated each other as Dean and Tristan, are very close mates. Wouldn't mind a 'Jared/Chad sandwich!

I know there are some fabulous near-naked photos of Jared playing Sam Winchester on 'Supernatural' but I'm going to share a few from his Dean era.

Priceless Gilmore Moment

This is one of my favourite Gilmore Girls moments, short but classic. Pay particular attention to Dean's (Jared) reaction. He turns away to laugh when they begin to sing and I have a suspicion it is unscripted. Enjoy.
