Oh Mr Efron You Make Our Eyes So Happy.

There is nothing better than a movie release to provide fabulous pap shots of our favourites.  Ryan Gosling has been pleasing my fellow editor for months now with his swag of movie releases but now it's my turn.  'New Year's Eve' has hit cinemas which means that Zac is out and about and making this lady very happy.

These shots with his co-star Michelle Pheiffer are from the World Premiere of the movie in Los Angeles..... but wait there's more.  Let's head to New York where the view only gets better.....

This is far from all the snaps I have stashed away in my file but I think it will do for now.

Zac Loves Michelle

I am pleased to report that Zac Efron has a thing for the older ladies which puts a smile on my 'older lady' face and gives me a little spring in my step this morning.  Unfortunately the MILF in question is not me but Michelle Pfeiffer - and who can blame him really?  I have a crush on her myself.
Here's what he said at a press conference for 'New Year's Eve'....

"I met Michelle a few years ago during 'Hairspray' and had a huge crush on her, always, from day one," said Efron, speaking about his last collaboration with the triple-Oscar nominee. "And back then I was very, very young and very bashful, and around her I tended to put my foot in my mouth a lot. I didn't really know what to say to her, and everything just came out wrong...I didn't know what to do. But then I got to talk on the phone with [her] about this part, and she said, 'I think we should take this to the next level. We should...get a kiss in there.' And I was like, 'I'm in! I'm in this movie! Sign me up! Let's do it!'...It was awesome."

And then, to Michelle: "Every second with you was amazing."

"We didn't really talk that much before at all, until we showed up. And I think he was a little disappointed when he opened my trailer door and there sat 'Ingrid'," said Pfeiffer, referring to her mousy character, a repressed executive secretary. "And his little face just kind of fell. I felt really bad. But I think probably the sweetest thing about him was that he never let on, and he still won't admit how disappointed he was!"

"She looked stunning, absolutely stunning," Zac responded adoringly.
Awwww!!!  Zac you are adorable  and this is just one more reason why I want to be Michelle Pfeiffer!

New "new Year's Eve' trailer

It's looking kinda cheesy, but lots of fun, with fun cast. Although a Heigl and a Lea Michele in the one movie might be a bit too much!!!!

Finally Official

There has been talk for months but finally Zac himself has confirmed it today on the red carpet - he will join the cast of  'New Year's Eve', the  ensemble movie by Gary Marshall.
Zac shared that most of his scenes would be with, “Michelle Pfeiffer. Yeah, not a bad co-star. It’s got a great cast.”  Zac and Michelle also worked together in'Hairspray'.  Love hearing any news that Zac has more work for me to drool over...
