CHALET GIRL - the trailer

Well we talked about this almost a year ago (see here) and now we have a trailer....unfortunately for Cool Rider probably not enough Sophia Bush. The one thing that I am most nervous about, is that I might actually like Ed Westwick after watching this flick!!!! He is so much more appealing with the english accent! Help!

Sophia and Austin are still doing their part for the Gulf crisis - selling these tees with all profits going to Gulf Relief.
Nice to be reminded at Christmas that people are still care.

Someone Get That Girl A Taxi

Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols have been doing the rounds promoting their compilation CD Gasoline Rainbows.

One hundred percent of the proceeds of the album, which was released last week on iTunes, will go to Global Green to help those affected by the Gulf oil spill.
These guys have been tireless campaigners for the gulf disaster and obviously they are committed to long term relief which is inspiring.

In the spirit of romance this evening I thought I'd share with you Sophia Bush's words when she admitted she and co-star Austin Nicholls were dating. (thanks Eonline)

"We've been dating off and on for the past four years,"
Sophia was understandably wary about dating a costar after what she refers to as the "Chad [Michael Murray] debacle, but apparently Austin made a grand gesture that convinced her to go for it...

"I was pretty terrified," she admitted, referring to her marriage to her former costar. But it turns out that Austin actually took a job on One Tree Hill to be with her!

"We had so many years of history prior to him coming to work on the show," she explained, "and I think someone taking a job and moving their life across the country to show you how much they care is pretty much the most romantic gesture that a person could make."

Lately Sophia Bush and Austin Nicholls have been on a twitter rampage trying to drum up support and awareness of the gulf oil disaster.  Now they have put their words in to action and headed down to survey the area themselves.  They are actively trying to learn about the nature of the spill and what they can do to stop it. They surveyed the land and talked to locals, trying to understand as much as they could the reach of the damage.
They have been posting photos to their Facebook pages and it's quite an eye opener. (Austin, Sophia)
Fabulous to see people with a media profile using it to benefit a cause other than themselves.  Well done guys.

I'm loving this purely for the fact that my beautiful and hilarious Sophia Bush is in it - but not only that.... her boyfriend is played by Jesse Bradford!! (Bring It On, Swimfan)  I'm soooo going to watch this!

Smile Austin

For those of you who have not sampled the delights of Austin Nichols I thought I would give you a sample of his charm.. The joy of Austin is all in the smile!  He is one of those guys who does not photograph particularly well but walking and talking - he is delicious.  He has a twinkle in his eye, a cheeky arse smile and a romantic heart.

Doesn't hurt who his friends are either.

So there you go - lots of reasons to get to know Mr Austin Nichols - you won't regret it.

CHALET GIRL (2010)

Sound good?  Sound like the perfect chick flick?  Dodgey but ultimately fabulous?  You're damn right it does.  I am certain this will be a Star's Hollow Movie Night film because not only does it star....... the divine Sophia Bush, but Mr Ed Westwick is the love interest!  Unfortunately Sophia is not the main character but it's better than nothing.  The cast is rounded out by Bill Nighy and Brooke Shields.
 

 
Chalet Girl based on the 2007 novel The Chalet Girl: Falling In Love Can Be a Slippery Slope, the first book in the Little Black Dress romance series by author Kate Lace.   Best I head to the bookshop!

Girl Crush - Sophia Bush

My number one girl crush - Miss Sophia Bush - has been cast in ABC's family comedy pilot - 'Southern Discomfort.'

The comedy is about a father whose grown kids move back in with him. Sophia will play the role of Haley, daughter of co-stars Don Johnson and Mary Steenburgen. Haley is a recent Harvard graduate who returns to her Texas hometown to reunite with her old boyfriend.

The deal has Sophia in second position to her role on "One Tree Hill," meaning the CW series still has first dibs on the actress for next season. It's still unclear if "One Tree Hill" will get a pickup; the veteran drama and the CW's freshman series "Life Unexpected" are considered to be vying for a single spot on the network's schedule next season. As far as I am concerned too much Sophia Bush is barely enough. I'll be following this with great interest.

Sophia Bush Affects Others The Same Way!

Due to my love of all things 'Bush', I was reading various blogs metioning the lovely lady and came across this particularly hilarious one. This man has captured perfectly how I would feel about Sophia if I was a bloke! And it made me giggle!

'Sophia Bush showed up to Fashion Week in NYC and when he saw her, my penis did that thing where he giggled then punched me in the arm, because he thinks she's the most freakin adorable thing in Hollywood. She makes me want to learn calligraphy so I can write her love letters that I read to her while she's eating chocolate strawberries in the rose petal and champagne bath I made for her. Of course, then I'd bend her over a couch and use her hair as reins, too, but then it would be out of love you see. I'm so romantic! '

OVERWHELMED

Regular readers of Star's Hollow will be aware that my top 2 Ladies that I love are the divine Miss Sophia Bush and the incomparable Miss Kristen Bell. Imagine my delight when I came accross this photo by accident tonight!!!

Just as I was getting over the excitment of the Bell and Bush sharing the screen - along came this photo!!!!!!

It's all too much for me - I think I need a lie down. The girls PLUS Mr Zac Efron. It gets no better than this. I am a very happy lady.

I was very excited to discover that my Number 1 lady, Miss Sophia Bush, was out and about on Globes night and was spotted looking rather fetching at the Instyle after party. I think she looks fabulous in what is a fairly bold colour choice - loving the turquoise accessories.
