Baby Sturridge

They had the baby on the weekend but were a long time coming with the details.  The Daily Mail are now reporting that Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge had a baby girl whom they have called Marlow.

This couple intrigues me. I kind of love them but I'd like to know more. She is one of my lady crushes and he is cute as a button. Also joining them on their night out in London a couple of night's ago was Tom's best friend's girlfriend, Kristen Stewart!! Will be keeping my eye on these two...

They've played coy for months and have done their best to avoid being photographed together, but now Sienna Miller has finally confirmed her relationship with Tom Sturridge by smooching in public no less!

We may have missed it at the movies but we certainly won't be missing the DVD.  It's out now and I'm off to locate it....

Starring Rachel Bilson and Tom Sturridge, the flick follows the childhood best friends who lost touch a long time ago as far as she knows.


To Will (Sturridge), Emma (Bilson) never stopped being the most important person in his life. Believing them to be forever linked, he goes wherever she goes. Will doesn’t have a home, a car, or a real job. He survives on his talent as a juggler and entertainer talents honed through years of showing off for Emma. When her father gets sick, Emma returns to their hometown, trying to leave behind her complicated love life and failing career as a TV actress.

This is one that has been on our list for awhile and finally we have a trailer. It's a great cast Rachel Bilson, Tom Sturridge, Blythe Danner, Richard Jenkins and Matt Davis. My vibe from the trailer is that it could be cute, but not fantastic! Feels as though Tom is channelling 'Duckie', and Rachel's acting chops, not so much, but hey, I am a sucker for this kind of thing, so no doubt i'll give it a viewing!!!

Waiting For Forever

Life has gotten complicated for actress Emma Twist. Her mediocre TV show has been canceled, she's on the rocks with her boyfriend Aaron, and her fathers illness has been deemed terminal. To make matters worse, her childhood friend Will Donner, whom she hasn't laid eyes on since they were children, has decided now is the time to profess his true feelings for her. When everyone unexpectedly converges in Emma's hometown, questions of family, love, and how we live our lives are explored.

Sounds good I think. Even better is that Emma is played by the delightful Rachel Bilsen. Her best mate is played by Rob Pattinson's best mate - Tom Sturridge who you may know from 'Pirate Radio'.

Interesting trivia - Apparently the director wanted Rob for the role but "I saw the script on the floor of Rob's apartment when I was staying on his sofa," Tom said. "I thought to myself, 'I could do this better than he could!', so I called up my agent the next morning. They were kind enough to let me audition and apparently they saw something in me."

Love fun trivia like that - wonder if Rob had any interest in doing it before Tom stole his role!

Oh and Nikki Blonsky from Hairspray is also in it as is Blythe Danner.

tom sturridge.... cute...non???

Tom Sturridge popped onto my horizon last week, as the young star in THE BOAT THAT ROCKED. He was ever so cute and so well suited the 60's attire. Probably currently best known as being one of Robert Pattinson's friends, and there has been much debate amongst fans about who would have made a better Edward, ( not sure if this would annoy or amuse these boys! )

So anyway, I just thought I would investigate a little further and pop him onto your horizon also!!!

Tom Sturridge, the young English actor was born in 1986 (well never mind!) in London to parents, director Charles Sturridge and actress Phoebe Nicholls.

He began as a child actor, in the 1996 television adaptation of Gulliver's Travels directed by his father and co-starring his mother. He re-emerged in 2004 in Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon and, Being Julia.

He has two younger siblings, brother Arthur and sister Matilda. He attended Winchester college, the same school attended by Hugh Dancy, but became good friends with Robert Pattinson through his siblings, both of whom attended Harrodian.

He will next be seen in a film alongside our very own Rachel Bilson (our very own just 'cos we like her here in Stars Hollow!) called WAITING FOR FOREVER. Well, i for one, am hoping I don't have to wait forever to see him again!
