The lovely Sean Faris in all his glory! We haven't seen alot of him of late. Last seen in a few eps of Vampire Diaries, and sadly some films that we shall never see. Bring back the glory days of NEVER BACK DOWN and LIFE AS WE KNOW IT. We miss you Sean.

Last seen on 'Vampire Diaries', just wrapped a film we may never get to see but has a couple more in the pipeline. I'll keep you posted as i continue my investigation. Might be time to drag out "life as we know it' again!

It's been way too long......

Very Relieved

After my post about the renewal of Smallville for a 10th season I started to think about the poor bloke who plays Lex Luthor. In case you've never seen it, Lex is the dude with the very bald head.
My concern was that Michael Rosenbaum has had to be bald for ten years! That has to be tough. After watching a couple of episodes tonight I decided to google Michael and I was very relieved to see that he has indeed had hair over the years.

I still haven't worked out if he grows it back in the off season or if he wears a bald cap (which I doubt) I'll have to keep working on it.

By the way tonight's episode featured our friend Sean Faris as a tortured werewolf/poet!! Love it when randoms pop up.

EXCITING NEWS - from the brains behind Gilmore

We get very excited when Amy Sherman Palladino and her husband develop a new series and although 'The Return Of Jezebel James' didn't take off, there is a new offering and it looks FANTASTIC.

The new series centres around 22-year-old Gideon Thorpe, a horse trainer who inherits a ranch in Wyoming. There he must care for his 3 younger sisters after their parents die.

Now for the best bit - Sean Faris was recently cast in the lead role of The Wyoming Project. You’ll recognize him from The Vampire Diaries, and 'Life As We Know It' which is a special favourite of ours.

Good news for all us Sean Faris fans - His Vampire Diaries episodes are showing in the states this week so looks like we'll be able to download them sooner rather than later. HIs first episode is ep.12 'Unpleasantville'. Can't wait.

Melissa McCarthy. The funny lady behind Sookie,(Gilmore Girls) is guest starring in a January episode of Private Practice, sources confirm.

According to a PP insider, McCarthy’s character is pregnant and a patient of midwifery expert Dell (Chris Lowell).

McCarthy has kept busy since Gilmore went off the air three years ago. In addition to her regular gig on the now-canceled Samantha Who?, she just wrapped a supporting role in the Katherine Heigl-Josh Duhamel romantic comedy, Life as We Know It.

So Melissa McCarthy is obviously from our very fave show ever, Gilmore Girls, she is now doing an ep of Private Practice with Chris Lowell, whom we love because he was in Veronica Mars, and he was in another fave show with a Hollow hotty Sean Faris, called LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, which bizarrely is the name of the movie that Melissa is starring in!!!!

J has been wanting me to watch THE VAMPIRE DIARIES since it hit our screens last month, and time somehow got away from me, and I have just never caught up. She almost physically held me down last week to watch Ep number 1 and of course I so loved it. NOW however I will definitely be watching as one of my fave little hotties is joining the cast. You may or may not know that J and I were in love with a little series called LIFE AS WE KNOW IT which introduced us to the very lovely Sean Faris, we have even watched movies such as NEVER BACK DOWN just to get a glimpse!! Sean, whose character's name is Ben, will befriend the Mystic Falls High gang when Matt (Zach Roerig) starts working at the Grill, where Ben is a bartender. The EW article also notes that Ben is an ex-high school football star who will possibly romance one of the Mystic High ladies, which makes me think he'd be perfect for Caroline (Candice Accola) — she goes for the slightly cocky older men (ahem, Damon). Then again, I wouldn't mind a little romantic interest for Bonnie (Katerina Graham). So far she's had to sit on the sidelines while all her friends make out with cute boys. It's just not fair.

It's nice to see Sean land on a series that we know already will last more than this season. He was on two one-season shows in a row — the under-appreciated "Life as We Know It" followed by the clever-but-cancelled "Reunion" a year later — and many of his costars have gone on to find some steady work (Chyler Leigh landed on "Grey's Anatomy," Dave Annable on "Brothers & Sisters," and Amanda Righetti on "The Mentalist," to name a few). It's about time Sean catches a break."

Who knew I could love a movie about fighting?? Well I just watched one and I did love it.

Aided by the fact that the gorgeous Sean Faris was the star. (those of you who follow our work here at the 'hollow' may be familiar with Sean from our love of all things 'LIFE AS WE KNOW IT') Not only does he barely wear tops throughout the film, but neither does Cam Gigandet or Djimon Hounsou. Get the picture!!!!! Teen drama at its best, a little romance, pumping soundtrack, hot boys, Friday night in, bring it on!!!!!!!!
