AFTERPARTY

Here is some hotness from the 2011 InStyle And Warner Bros. 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards post-party held at The Beverly Hilton hotel....

Can I please start with the delectable Gerard Butler who is looking ravishing with a holiday tan!

Also looking none to shabby are Dave Annable and his wife, Odette

Camilla Bell, Selena Gomez and Nina Dobrev may not have attended the Awards but they certainly added glamour to the after party.

Also partying the night away was Kristen Bell - wonder if Dax was there too?

and before I go any further.... WHO THE HELL IS THIS???

It's apparently Thomas Dekker!  (Sarah Conner Chronicles)  Great photo Thomas.

And here is my pick for most stylish get-up of the evening - Mr Brad Goreski

Can We Discuss Sandy's Hair?!

Sandra Bullock turned up at the Golden Globes with a 'Naomi Campbell' fringe and I think it needs some discussion.   I know Sandy has had a turbulent year, what with the arsehole husband and the stress of a new baby but what's with the new do.  My thought is that this style really is a young person's style but then I decided that maybe she's hiding from Scarlett Johannson which is understandable given the rumours about her and Ryan Reynolds.
Maybe this hair would have been improved by a sleek black dress?
What are your thoughts?  Do you love it or hate it?

Chris Colfer's Speech

I don't know that Chris Colfer's character on GLEE is necessarily the best on TV but he is definitely a crowd favourite so his win was a popular one if nothing else.
Lovely to see him so genuinely thrilled to win the award.

Oh Ricky! You're In Trouble!

And now comes the backlash…

According to GOSSIPCOP,

Philip Berk, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (the group responsible for putting on the Golden Globes) says host Ricky Gervais went too far last night with his jokes.
Gervais made biting remarks about a number of stars throughout the telecast, but particularly during his opening monologue.
“He definitely crossed the line,” Berk tells The Hollywood Reporter. “And some of the things were totally unacceptable.”
“Any of the references to individuals is certainly not something the Hollywood Foreign Press condones,” he added.
Berk says that he “had no idea what Ricky was going to say” as the comedian does not allow any pre-show scrutiny.

Having watched the opening monologue with one hand over my mouth I can certainly see why they are upset.  Check it out and see what you think.

Rob Pattinson

I'm so sorry to those of you that think the world revolves around Mr Pattinson - I nearly forgot to show you how he looked at the Globes! Oops!

Finally Some Colour

Amy Adams stunning in navy

clare Danes looking sleek

Sofia Veraga - smok'n

Christina Hendricks vavavooming as she does so well

Green for Mad Men's Elizabeth Moss

The delightful Mandy Moore who I think looks divine in blue.

And Emma Stone looking completely different but stunning as a blonde in peach.

blah!

Gorgeous - Robert Downey Jr adding his own touch of colour.

Michelle Williams

Thank god for Michelle Williams - single handedly proving that there is still room for individuality on the red carpet, while still looking gorgeous.

Anne Hathaway

Old time glamour is never gone as long as Anne Hathaway is on the red carpet - tonight is no exception.
At first glance I wasn't convinced but the more I look the more I like - and Oh my lord what I wouldn't do for an arse like that!!

Golden Globe Colour?

January Jones - making sure  that black is not the colour of the night.

Dianna Agron - is she the prettiest thing ever?

Jake Gyllenhaal looking good but prefer the outfit he didn't wear in 'Love & Other Drugs'

What is a red carpet these days without Lea Michelle?

Nicole and Keith Urban - both looking lovely.

Natalie Portman doing pregnant chic well this season

Scarlett Johansson looking..well, um rather odd.

Finally we're seeing some colour on the red carpet although the blush and nudes probably don't count - looks like January Jones is on her own for the time being.  Lets see if we can find anyone else to brighten things up.

The Golden Globes 2011

It's one of our favourite times of the year - AWARDS SEASON - and today I bring you a taste of our favourite awards show of them all - THE GOLDEN GLOBES, probably the most fun as it is also renowned as Hollywood's most gin-soaked event!

First up, as always is the red-carpet arrivals.
Red carpet photos are slowly hitting the internet so here is the first installment of lucious lovelies.

Kaley Cucio from the  Big Bang Theory, looking a tad 'Miley-esque' in this number.

Here's someone I haven't seen for a while - Julia Stiles

Chris Hemsworth looking dashing with his newly wed glow

Kelly Osbourne looking rather stylish

Looking like the princess she actually is - Olivia Wilde.

Another Australian delight - Ryan Kwanten.  Gee our boys are scrubbing up well tonight.

One of my favourite young men, and soon to be seen in 'I Am Number Four' - Alex Pettyfer.

There are many more to come so stay posted - hopefully we'll see a little more colour....
