How Good Would This Be!!!

Kevin Williamson served as executive producer on Dawson's Creek, the show that made Joshua Jackson famous.
He now serves as executive producer on The Vampire Diaries. See where I'm going with this?

In a recent interview with E! News, Josh hinted that he's talked to his friend about appearing on The Vampire Diaries - how fantastic would that be?!
The more we see of Josh on our screens the better and after watching this clip I am so pleased that Josh is as cool as Pacey.

Poll Results

It turns out that Vampire's are popular in all shapes and sizes. This poll was the most evenly spread with the winners only triumphing by 1 vote.
We had two winners this week with one of our newest Vampires scoring the same amount as an old favourite.
Our first winner was the oh so sexy 'Angel'

Angel (played by David Boreanaz) is a vampire who is cursed with a soul, a punishment designed to make him suffer for his past crimes. Angel goes through drastic changes. He starts out as a reluctant hero who stayed in the shadows, and ended up an altruistic champion of mankind, seeking to voluntarily atone for his sins. He also managed to get pretty hot and heavy with the Buffster.

With equal votes is dastardly but delicious Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. It seems Damon has made quite an impression despite being the brother who could ruin everything in Mystic Falls. He has hinted at a tiny bit of heart which keeps us from writing him off completely - and besides, have you seen him??? He's gorgeous.

Too exciting.......

J has been wanting me to watch THE VAMPIRE DIARIES since it hit our screens last month, and time somehow got away from me, and I have just never caught up. She almost physically held me down last week to watch Ep number 1 and of course I so loved it. NOW however I will definitely be watching as one of my fave little hotties is joining the cast. You may or may not know that J and I were in love with a little series called LIFE AS WE KNOW IT which introduced us to the very lovely Sean Faris, we have even watched movies such as NEVER BACK DOWN just to get a glimpse!! "Just when you thought the "Vampire Diaries" cast couldn't get any hotter, the CW series has brought on "Reunion" star Sean Faris (pictured) for a "multi-episode arc," according to EW.com. With "Legally Blonde" hunk Matthew Davis playing new history teacher Alaric Saltzman (great name) this week, we'll have some delicious new eye candy for many episodes to come. As Crush editor Lindsay Soll so aptly put it, "It's turning into an Abercrombie catalog on that set!"

Sean, whose character's name is Ben, will befriend the Mystic Falls High gang when Matt (Zach Roerig) starts working at the Grill, where Ben is a bartender. The EW article also notes that Ben is an ex-high school football star who will possibly romance one of the Mystic High ladies, which makes me think he'd be perfect for Caroline (Candice Accola) — she goes for the slightly cocky older men (ahem, Damon). Then again, I wouldn't mind a little romantic interest for Bonnie (Katerina Graham). So far she's had to sit on the sidelines while all her friends make out with cute boys. It's just not fair.

It's nice to see Sean land on a series that we know already will last more than this season. He was on two one-season shows in a row — the under-appreciated "Life as We Know It" followed by the clever-but-cancelled "Reunion" a year later — and many of his costars have gone on to find some steady work (Chyler Leigh landed on "Grey's Anatomy," Dave Annable on "Brothers & Sisters," and Amanda Righetti on "The Mentalist," to name a few). It's about time Sean catches a break."

Poll Results.

Well the results are in and it is a landslide. A huge thumbs up for T.V.D. 9 voters thought The Vampire Diaries was fantastic and only one was ambivalent. The other voters were yet to experience the joy but I'm assuming they will rectify the situation ASAP.

It also seems that I am not the only one who finds the Stamos a bit of alright. In fact not one person thought he was disgusting and although a few were not totally convinced, the majority thought he was hot. Vindicated!!

What Would Dean Say?

Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Forester/ Dean's wife) will be joining the cast of Vampire Diaries, How fantastic that Gilmore Girls is colliding with The Vampire Diaries! We love a link like this so it will be so fun to watch Arielle pop up in what is arguably the best show to turn up this season (followed closely by GLEE) Arielle will be introduced in the seventh episode so we have a few weeks to go but it will be worth the wait. Just in case you live on another planet and haven't seem V.D. yet, the show is about a pair of vampire brothers, one good (Stefan) and one evil (Damon), who fight for the affection of a mortal girl named Elena in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.
Arielle will take on the role of Lexie, Stefan’s “oldest and best vampire friend.”

Can't wait.

Arielle has popped up a lot lately - in my house at least - 'Aquamarine', 'John Tucker Must Die', 'Entourage', you go girl. Dean may have cheated on you with Rory but you have risen above it!

They Just Keep Coming

Next up on tonight's viewing is The Vampire Diaries - starring the delectable Ian Somerhalder. This is a bit of a mix between the teen love story of Twilight, the creepiness of True Blood, and the classic love triangle of all good shows. The leads are very likable and it is a lot creepier than I was expecting. I must say that I wish Ian was playing the good brother but even as the epitome of evil he is distractingly good to look at. Elena, at the center of this love triangle, is played by Nina Dobrev and she is a joy to watch.


The casting is great, the atmosphere reminiscent of 'Forks' and the unfolding of the romance is, of course, addictive. I think I would have to say I prefer the acting here to 'The Beautiful Life' but all in all a ripper night of viewing.
(By the way - keep your eye out for Katerina Graham who plays Elena's best friend Bonnie - she is gorgeous)(Oh, and she was in '17 Again' and you know I love a link to Zac!)

J. Has Another Prediction

I wasn't sure if I would make the effort to watch ' The Vampire Diaries', the new American TV show. But now that I have met one of the vampire brothers I am definately going to be tuning in. The series airs here on GO on Sept 28th. And this is Ian Somerhalder!

The show is based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. The plot revolves around Elena Gilbert, a young heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers—one good, one evil—who are at war for her heart and for the souls of her friends, family and all the residents of the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.

Sounds good and if Ian is anything to go by then it will look good as well.

I even found this shot of Ian working with my Kristen Bell in 'PULSE' which sells him for me.
