Amy Adams appeared on Smallville in Season 1, Episode "Craving"

She played Jodi Melville, an over weight teen who ingested meteor rock and proceeded to lose enormous amounts of weight  but she was so hungry she had to suck the fat out of other people like a vampire, her body losing fat too fast for regular food to keep up.
 

They've Cast Lois

Official word is out from director Zack Snyder himself, that Academy-award nominated actress Amy Adams is joining Superman: Man Of Steel as none other than Lois Lane!

“There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Snyder said. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”


“It goes back to what I’ve said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What’s important to us is making him relebant and real and making him empathetic to today’s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance].”


“Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about," Snyder said in a statement Sunday. "So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful."

Amy's Expanding Rapidly

Here's some lovely news - Amy Adams and fiance Darren Le Gallo are expecting their first child together after being together for seven years. Now most of you will still be picturing Amy as the delightful Julie in 'Julie and Julia' but I will always love Amy for being my favourite storybook princess in 'Enchanted. Another reason to love Amy is because she was a resident of Sunnydale for a while and who doesn't love "Buffy the Vampire Slayer' on their regime?
