Reece Meets Kate and Will

Or Kate and Will meet Reece - I'm sure Kate was just as excited to meet Reece as she was to meet her.

Wedded Reece

It all went down on March 25th but I decided to wait until some photos emerged before posting about the marriage of the delightful Reece Witherspoon to agent Jim Toth. Well I got sick of waiting as the notoriously private Reece has only given us a tease and it looks like this is all we will be getting.

They married at home on her ranch with both her kids taking part in the service.

She wore blush pink and by all accounts the wedding was very family orientated and lots of fun.

There you go - that is the full extent of the news of Reece's nuptuals - pathetic really but I guess it's better than nothing.

Water For Elephants

I hadn't been all that fussed about this film but after seeing this trailer I'm definitely on board.  It looks magical, romantic, and it has Reece - must admit Rob isn't looking too bad either.

Water for Elephants presents an unexpected romance in a uniquely compelling setting. Veterinary school student Jacob meets and falls in love with Marlena, a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds -- including the wrath of Marlena's charismatic but dangerous husband, August -- Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love.

New Man Already Reece??

Ms Witherspoon is hand holding with Jim Toth, who is an agent. Don't know that I'm happy with this. Hmmm! Great boots though.

More From Reece

There is a chance that we may be getting another Reece Witherspoon classic romantic comedy soon. The movie will be based on ThePioneerWoman.com, a blog by Ree Drummond that details “how a detour on a trip from L.A. to Chicago led her to Oklahoma. There, she met the cowboy of her dreams and transformed from spoiled city girl to domestic ranch wife.”
Check out Ree’s blog at
ThePioneerWoman.com! I've been a fan for a while and I think you'll enjoy her humour, and her photos are amazing.

This sounds like a perfect movie for Reece with shades of 'Sweet Home Alabama' which is never a bad thing.

In Ree's words - 'Much of the interest centered less around me and my chronic laundry tragedies and much more around the suggestion that the lovely Reese Witherspoon would be portraying me in the movie. I can confirm that Reese is interested in the project, but has not officially committed to it—logic would dictate that she might need to read a screenplay first, which would require that a certain maladjusted redheaded ranch wife might need to finish the book first. Good Samaritan

Here is yet another reason we love Reece Witherspoon. Apparently Reese took pity on an embarrassed mother during a recent trip to a Whole Foods store in Los Angeles when she found she had forgotten her wallet. Reece picked up the tab. She is reported to have said she would gladly take care of the $70 bill and no apology was necessary.”
“She told the mom, ‘I understand, I have kids too!’”

Aaaaaw! Nicely done Reece.

Ah Ha!

Looks like you were right K. There was definitely beer involved.

Reece and Jake were at a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. After the concert, Jake was apparently swatting away paparazzi.

Doesn't look like Reece is too concerned though.

Sweet Home Alabama

Anyone living in Melbourne, and having any taste what so ever would have been watching one of the greatest chick flicks of the last decade. Sweet Home Alabama!

It doesn't matter how many times I see this movie - I could sit through it again straight after. Always a mark of a truly great film I think.
So to celebrate this movie and of course to give you what Stars Hollow readers always want - eye candy, here is the delectable Mr Josh Lucas, a member of Jenny's laminated list and the sleeper star of Sweet Home.

Now that is the perfect way to spend a Saturday night. Thank you Channel 7, and now, for your viewing pleasure, here is one of my favourite scenes with Reece and Josh...
