Mystery Man Revealed

Yes our mystery actor with the heart of gold (see post) is the gorgeous Mr Tom Welling.  There is nothing better than finding out someone you admire is actually someone worth admiring.  Now, not only do I think he is one of the most beautiful people on the planet... but he might also be one of the nicest. 

Which brings me to my next point - the final episode of Smallville EVER is fast approaching so I thought I might indulge myself and to celebrate 10 seasons I give you 10 days of Smallville!

Cool winter look

I'm liking this casual winter look on Rachel, although I am a firm believer that leggings are not pants, I do believe she is pulling it off. Good travel outfit, fun pillow, great boots!

so I am posting some shots from a couple of weeks ago, just in case you missed them. While filming in Cincinatti on Ides with George Clooney, he and Evan Rachel Wood visited the zoo.

There hasn't been much about this film available, just little leaks on the net over the past year. its a JJ Abrams, so that is not a shock. Finally there is a trailer and a synopsis, and it looks like it could be the ET of this generation. The story goes that JJ Abrams was fascinated by this story as a youngster, and it never left him....so he has now made it into a film! Looks kinda cool!


In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

Hard hitting questions tonight...do you prefer your men shaved or scruffy????

It would appear to me, that there is no hard and fasts here....scruff works for some and not others! And then there are some that could do whatever they bloody well like with their razor.......

Who's The Mystery Man?

There is an Entertainment Lawyer that posts "Blind Items" on the rich and famous in LA in his Crazy Days and Nights blog. A while ago he had some nice gossip to share about a certain actor.  See if you can work out who it is....

I feel like most of the kindness items lately have revolved around women. That is all well and good, but it is nice to hear that guys can be kind as well. This one involves an actor who would be A list by the definition that he is the star of a long running dramatic television series. Films? He's done a couple, but is really known for his television role. Age? Not old, not aging, but not in his twenties anymore either.



Our actor is married, and she should be included as well in this kindness since she is part of it. Every two weeks or so, no matter where he is, our actor stops into a local toy store. Generally a big chain, but no love from me since they make him pay retail. Our actor spends $1000 every two weeks like clockwork. When he was filming and kept going to the same store every two weeks, someone asked him why he was buying so many toys every few weeks.


Turns out our actor, stockpiles about 75% of the toys he buys all year long and at Christmas time donates them all to organizations like Toys For Tots, etc. The other 25% he sends to various children's hospitals throughout the year.

You know the best part? The guy doesn't need publicity to keep doing it.

Well we talked about this almost a year ago (see here) and now we have a trailer....unfortunately for Cool Rider probably not enough Sophia Bush. The one thing that I am most nervous about, is that I might actually like Ed Westwick after watching this flick!!!! He is so much more appealing with the english accent! Help!

Jason has just finished starring inThe Sound of Music as Captain von Trapp at the Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent and in June and July this year, he will feature alongside Boy George, Belinda Carlisle, Midge Ure, Pepsi & Shirlie, Jimmy Somerville and A Flock of Seagulls on the Here And Now Tour.

I was a fan of the original series, and in the eighties had a 'Book 'im Danno' t-shirt. (in fact still have it. do you think it would be retro cool to drag it out again?) Anyway, the new series, has not only kept the very groovy theme music, the Steve McGarret 'Book 'im Danno' line, but it has a hip and groovy new cast whose chemistry seems to work onscreen, particularly that of Scott Caan (sone of James and most recently seen in Entourage) and the Aussie, Alex O'Loughlin.
