When I first saw Kylie looking like this in the I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY clip, I so wanted to be her, and look like her......still do really!!!!

Owl City's Adam Young just released 'Alligator Sky,' the first single from his new album, and I can't wait. 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' is the name of the new album and the song debuted at number 1 on the i-tunes chart. Check out the song here....

Camilla Belle

The death of Elizabeth Taylor has reminded me of a post I've been meaning to do for a while. It may seem tenuous but The lovely Camilla Belle immediately came to mind as I see a lot of similarities in the beauty of these two women.

Every time I see a picture of Camilla on the red carpet I am struck by her, so I thought I'd see just what she is all about...

Camilla is 25 years old and has been modelling and acting since her childhood. Camilla also went to the University of Edinburgh. She studied classical piano, and modern language there. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
Camilla was nominated for a 1999 Youth in Film Young Artist award, for her role in the movie, Practical Magic. She was also nominated in 1999, for her guest appearance on the TV series, Walker, Texas Ranger. She is yet to make a huge splash but I'm sure we won't have to wait long.
Camilla is an international spokesperson for the charity, Kids With A Cause. The charity provides a helping hand to children suffering from poverty, hunger, lack of education, neglect or abuse.

Smallville - Day 5 Super Special Guests

Many series actors and guest stars have had roles in previous film and television versions of the Superman comic:

Christopher Reeve (Dr. Virgil Swann) played Superman in Superman and its three sequels;

Terence Stamp (Jor-El) played the Phantom Zone villain General Zod in Superman II; '

Annette OToole (Martha Kent) played Lana Lang in Superman III;

Dean Cain (Dr. Curtis Knox) played Clark Kent in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman;

Helen Slater (Lara, Clark's mother) played Kara/Supergirl in Supergirl.

Marc McClure (Dax-Ur) played Jimmy Olsen in Superman, its three sequels, and Supergirl.

Lynda Carter (Moira Sullivan, Chloe's mother) played Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in "Wonder Woman" (1975) ("Wonder Woman" is, like Superman, a DC Comics superhero).

Jeannot Szwarc, who has directed 13 episodes (as of October 2010) also directed Supergirl.

Margot Kidder (Bridgette Crosby) played Lois Lane in Superman and its three sequels.

Teri Hatcher (Lois's mother) played Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Just need to say 'Bloody Good job Juliette Lewis!!!"

HBO Miniseries! Kate Winslet. Guy Pearce. what's not to like!

I grew up on the mini-series. Think 'All the Rivers Run', 'Anzacs', Vietnam, A Town Like Alice and many more, so am in love with the idea of this. I think this looks ace. It's premiering in the US and Canada shortly, so hard to say when we shall see it donwunder! Will keep you posted.

Soul Surfer

'Soul Surfer' is opening in theaters next month, and now we have an exclusive clip from the film, starring AnnaSophia Robb as the inspiring teen surfer, Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm from a shark attack in 2003.

LIMITLESS - THE REVIEW

What if........

Go and watch this film and you will have many 'what ifs' circling around in your unused brain! LIMITLESS is a sci fi thriller with enough action to keep you interested the whole way through....and if the action and suspense doesn't keep you interested, then Bradley Cooper will. What a find he has been and this, really being his first major lead, proves that not only is he extremely handsome, but a great actor. Perfect for this role, which apparently was originally to go to Shia LaBoeuf, whom at no stage can you imagine pulling off this role.

The story follows narrator and aspiring author Eddie Morra (Cooper) who is suffering from chronic writer's block, but his life changes instantly when an old friend introduces him to NZT, a revolutionary new pharmaceutical that allows him to tap his full potential. With every synapse crackling, Eddie can recall everything he has ever read, seen or heard, learn any language in a day, comprehend complex equations and beguile anyone he meets as long as he keeps taking the untested drug. He draws much attention to himself with his brand new knowledge and wealth, and of course the bad men finally catch up and make his life hell. His main concern is how to keep his limited supply of the drug coming.

There's some pretty cool camera work in this film, particularly when Eddie is on NZT, (just don't have too many wines before going in if you have a weak stomach for rides!!) The Film is probably slightly male skewed, but there is plenty of interest for the chicks as well. For example, Bradley Cooper in a pinstriped suit, well worth the admission price right there!!!! The supporting actors aren't nearly as noticeable. Robert De niro is not really on screen much and Abbie Cornish is not particularly notable when she is!

Great date movie and as I said, will keep the questions coming long after the credits roll. What if......would you take the pill????? Not since the red or blue pill decision have I thought so much about taking a pill!!! Give the movie a go, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Smallville - Day 4 From Supergirl to Wonder Woman

While we hope we'll see Clark's Superman costume on Smallville revealed in the final episode, we now have our first look at Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman from the TV pilot that is currently filming. ( 'Wonder Woman is being produced by David E. Kelley -“Boston Legal,” “Ally McBeal,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law”).

There has been a lot of flack about the re-design of the suit - what do you think? Love it or hate it? Personally I'm not a fan - I miss those impossibly short shorts and the stars.

Adrianne Palicki played the original Kara,Clark's cousin, in Smallville but was replaced by Laura Vandervoort after her less than impressive performance. May she have better luck in Washington than she did in Metropolis.
