Liam and Josh

We were lucky enough to attend the Australian Premiere of The Hunger Games on Tuesday night  which as you can imagine was very exciting and having been early fans of the books we were dying to see how the film had been handled.  We were also very keen to see our very own piece of casting in action - as soon as the film was announced your Stars Hollow ladies were on the net recommending Liam Hemsworth as the perfect choice for Gale.  

Imagine how thrilled we were when he was not only in the running but actually got the part.  We acted smug, slapped each other on the back and generally acted like it was all due to us.  

Things were looking great for this movie until the casting of Peter..... we were not at all convinced but as the powers that be had chosen Liam we assumed they saw something that we didn't.  Our problem with Josh Hutcherson playing Peter was the the OBVIOUS discrepancy in their hottness quotient.  

In the book Katniss is supposed to be torn between the two boys - loving them both for different reasons but unable to commit to either.... with these two playing the roles we just don't see it.  How the hell could there be a choice!  


Imagine my shock and surprise when I was looking at the Access Hollywood site this morning only to discover that in a poll for HOTTEST 'HUNGER GAMES' HUNK  Liam is LOSING to Josh 43% to 57%!!!  Can someone please explain to me how that can happen - look at them.....
