Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon and actor Jake Gyllenhaal are still together, said their representatives, slammimg reports that the couple has split.

A source close to the pair had claimed that they have separated after a relationship of two years, People magazine has reported.

But Nanci Ryder and Carrie Byalick, who represent Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal respectively, said, "It is not true. They are still together."

The actors co-starred in the 2007 movie 'Rendition', and soon after started dating in real life.

The Oscar-winning actress has been with the 28-year-old actor ever since, without any ups and downs in their relationship. Indian Express

Have a giggle! I'm sure James franco is

James franco on General Hospital

Remember the film WHITE SQUALL? I remember absolutely loving it when I first watched it. It was caned by the critics but what a ride it was. Hot young boys, adventure and tragedy! Of course Scott Wolf was the drawcard for me, but it also drew my attention to Ryan Phillipe, Balthazaar Getty (Tommy in Brothers and Sisters), Ethan Embry (Billy Ray n Sweet Home Alabama), David Lascher (Josh in Sabrina the teenage witch) etc

"White Squall" is the true story of a ship school called the "Albatross." The school is run by the captain, Christopher "Skipper" Sheldon (Jeff Bridges) and his wife, Dr. Alice Sheldon (Caroline Goodall). In 1960, the couple took aboard eight teenage boys from around the country for eight months of learning how to sail, be a crew, and respect one another. the crew goes through hard times and more laid-back times, but they must come together when a freak storm gets them in trouble in the middle of the ocean.

I'm wondering if it was a time and place movie or whether another viewing is required. Has anyone seen it recently? How did it hold up?

While We're On The Subject...

Speaking of Ladies who are looking fabulous - Ms Aniston sure knows how to wear a pair of jeans and a tee well. She knows what works and pulls it off time after time. She's at Heathrow for Thanksgiving.

That's Better

Alexis is back in my fashion good books after a couple of dodgey outings that we have brought you in the past. She is at an opening night party for 'Wired' store and I think she looks fabulous. She's rocking the casual look.

(NB. Kristine - Alexis Bledel played Rory in Gilmore Girls)

a friend of ours....

"The six-foot-one nascent muscle dude was wearing flimsy track pants that might as well have been pajama bottoms, 'cause we all know what one wears under PJs, right? Same thing with his black trainers, which could easily have revealed his religious affiliation.

Either that, or 'he' had his large pet snake with a swollen lip in there, just floppin' around and havin' a good ole time.

Freshly worked out, happy ' ' climbed into his bigass gas-guzzlin' SUV, like it was a perfectly normal thing for an endowed movie star to dangle 'n' go."

wow, hasn't she grown up!

This is Saoirse Ronan, who you may remember as the little sister in ATONEMENT. Well here she is at the premiere of her latest film, THE LOVELY BONES, and doesn't she look pretty!

now i really love him...

This is the man.....

And this is his dog.....

One of our new loves here in the Hollow, has just jumped a little higher on the 'i love you lots' meter!!! He has tweeted this pic of his puppy! Not only is that so sweet, because I love a boy who loves his dog, but it is an Australian cattle dog (blue heeler)! Nice choice Puck, what a cool dog!

nb. Kristine - Mark plays Puck on one of our fave new show GLEE - thur 7.30pm channel 10

There's hope for us yet!!!

"Zac also recently declared his desire to be seduced by an older woman on the big screen, saying, “I’m still waiting for that script and that director. I like a lot of movies from the 1970s. A movie I just saw again and one of my favorites is The Graduate.”

Letters to Juliet

Amanda Seyfried is shaping up to be our must see actress in 2010. First there is the delightful looking nicholas sparks adaptation, DEAR JOHN, with Channing Tatum (see earlier post) and now this, LETTERS TO JULIET. Loving this cute trailer especially the use of Taylor Swift's song! Anyone recognise the male lead, not the spunky Gael García Bernal, but the other one. Chris Egan from HOME AND AWAY, another H&A alumni making good in the US. Little note, he was also in 2 eps of another fave EVERWOOD!!! Anyway, have a look and let us know if we should add it to the 'must see' list!

Day 4 of Mr and Mrs Perry

To Help With The Poll

Here are your options just to refresh your memories....
I give you 'The Vamps"

Stefan and Damon

The Count

Poll Results

It seems that the majority of us wish we had the style, flair and bank balance of Miss Serena Van Der Woodsen. From the very first episode when we met Serena she has delighted us with her wardrobe. The others all received a vote with the only one to make a serious play for the fashion title being Blair Waldorf.
Congrats on winning our poll Serena!

What A Lovely View

Sorry about all the Zac stuff (I'm actually not sorry at all) but I had to share this with K 'cause I know how much she idolises the women of The View. She doesn't mind a bit of Zac either!

Day 2 of Mr and Mrs Perry

He Got My Vote

Keith has been hitting the red carpet with Nicole for the American Music Awards where he was up for Favourite Male Artist and performed a song. I think he looks rather dapper and is that a new tatoo adorning his chest? How do I not know about this? Maybe it has my name in the design.... 'sigh'

Even if, like me, you aren't a huge fan of Keith's life partner, you must admit they are very sweet with each other.

Day 1 of Mr and Mrs Perry

Over the next 10 days we will celebrate the (fantasy) marriage of our very favourite couple here at Star's Hollow - Matthew Perry and Lauren Graham. Enjoy!

All this talk of Matt Damon's bottom in School ties has led to this week's retro Sunday. SCHOOL TIES is a film not that well known, but where I first really discovered Matt Damon. Although I was familiar with his one line in MYSTIC PIZZA, true love was not yet to be! I took myself off to see this film by myself in 1993, not really knowing much about it, but fell in love with it, and all the boys in it!

"Set in the 1950s, School Ties sheds light on the "true" nature of the old boys club. David Green (Fraser), a supreme athlete, is granted admission to an exclusive boarding school reserved for the country's blue bloods. Green hopes to use the school to get into Harvard, while the school uses him to win football championships. Everything is going as planned until a spoiled classmate Charlie Dillon (Damon), finds out that Green is Jewish. Given the time and circumstances, this does not sit well with his classmates. The movie comes to a climax when the classmates are forced to choose between Green and Dillon in a cheating scandal. The movie really highlights the religious inequality that took place at that time in America. One also comes to realize how the elite maintain their status and privilege by attending schools such as the one in this movie." synopsis courtesy IMDB.

I guess the star of the film is Brendan Fraser, who to be honest, has never floated my boat, but he is excellent as David Green, the outsider with a secret. Chris O'donnell, was also good, and then there was Matt Damon, who plays an absolutely hideously nasty kid, but you can definitely see his potential. The supporting cast also includes Ben Affleck, Cole Hauser, who also went onto to GOOD WILL HUNTING after becoming friends with Matt and Ben on the set, and of course there was a girl that was in a love triangle with the leads played by an actress by the name of Amy Locane.

Anyway, if you liked DEAD POETS SOCIETY and GOOD WILL HUNTING, you should give SCHOOL TIES a watch!

Claire Danes Talks Kissing

It was tough going,” she joked. “Being with Zac was amazing. I did a lot of mincing around the stage in this film, but the love scenes are really special, really tender. I was surprised by how easy it was to act with Zac and I was really delighted to discover how fine an actor he is.”

Fantasy Photo

Oh how we wish this were real!
(NB Kristine - Lauren Graham is from Gilmore Girls and used to date Matt Perry. We believe they should be back together and are waiting patiently for that day.)

Formosa Betrayed

I think I am going to have to add this to our must see list. It stars James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek) and tells the story of FBI agent Jake Kelly's investigation of the brutal murder of a Taiwanese-American professor on US soil.

James has just won the Best Actor award at the San Diego Film Festival for his role in the film. Well done James - nice to have you back.

Whose bum?

It's time for another round of "Whose bum'?

Guess whose it is and in what film is it from???

A selection for your perusal! Johnny Depp was the winner, and clearly probably should be awarded the lifetime achievement award! No real surprises, but a couple of amusing inclusions!
