We grew up loving the film BACK TO THE FUTURE, but can you imagine, if Marty had not been played by Michael J Fox? Well, Eric Stoltz was originally cast in the role and actually filmed for 5 weeks, before the filmmakers had to make the hideous decision that he really wasn't Marty. Here they explaining what went down. Quite fascinating really!
