Smallville - Day 8

Those of us who are Smallville fans have a soft spot for those we met in the very first season.  Chloe Sullivan played by Alison Mac is possibly the most loved resident of Smallville, Lana Lang - no matter how annoying she became in future seasons - will always be the sweet high school cheerleader we adored when we first met her, and then there is Pete Ross! 

Pete, played by Sam Jones III, was Clark's best friend from his childhood and was the first person Clark told about his alien nature and special abilities.  Pete was a resident of Smallville for three seasons, from 2001 to 2004 and made a brief return in 2008.  If you are wondering why he has not made an appearence since this may clear things up.......

In October 2009, Sam was taken into custody by Drug Enforcement Administration agents on charges of drug trafficking. He was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. On December 16, 2010, Sam pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 oxycodone pills. He was the "Hollywood connection" in a plot to illegally purchase and distribute the drug, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court. Sam Jones III faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Sentencing is scheduled for June, 2011.

Looks like Pete Ross won't be making an appearence in the finale!!

Oh, and in case that isn't enough gossip for you, Sam Jones III is currently dating Karissa Shannon with whom he has created a sex tape.  Nice one Sam.  What would Clark say??.
